Where We Work

Most of our work takes place in the 10/40 window - home to some of the largest unreached people groups and the majority of the world's unevangelized countries. The 10/40 Window is the rectangular area of North Africa, the Middle East and Asia approximately between 10 degrees north and 40 degrees north latitude. Often called "The Resistant Belt,” it includes the majority of the world's Muslims, Hindus, and Buddhists.

Asia is the largest and most populated continent on earth. It contains 30% of the world’s land area and 60% of the world’s population. Asia’s current population is 4.5 billion people (2018). It is home to the seven countries with the most unreached people groups in the world—India, Pakistan, China, Bangladesh, Nepal, Indonesia, and Laos. The percentage of professing evangelicals in these countries range from 0.3% in Bangladesh to 7.5% in China. Though some progress has been made, the need for faithful pastors and true Gospel preachers is great. Let us “pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest” (Luke 10:2).

HeartCry currently partners with missionaries in many of these countries. These countries have little-to-no Biblical resources available to them if they do not speak English. Thus, our desire is to train these men and provide the support they need as they labor to carry the Gospel to some of the least-reached areas of the world. Please pray with us as we seek to train and support more laborers in other unreached parts of Asia.
